Torsten Buescher

Torsten Buescher has a strong background in procurement and category management. Torsten started their career at Ford Motor Company as a Projektmanagement-Analyst, where they provided project management support for new platform and car development projects. Torsten then moved on to Peguform Gmbh, where they held roles in strategic and project sourcing. Torsten has been with SICK since 2011, starting as a Category Manager and progressing to Head of Category Management for plastics/cables and then mechanics. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Procurement at SICK.

Torsten Buescher obtained a Dipl. Wirtschafts-Ingenieur (FH) degree in Production and Management from the Rheinische Fachhochschule Köln, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. Prior to that, from 1997 to 1999, they attended an Architekturbüro and achieved a degree in Bauzeichner.
