Catherine Fankhauser

Catherine Fankhauser has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as Marking Manager at SICPA in 2002. Catherine moved on to become the Solution Laboratory Manager and later the Technical Sales Manager for the company. Catherine then took on the role of Sales Director of Identity Security Solutions, where they sold security solutions for value documents. In 2018, they became the Identity Security Solutions Director at SICPA and later, the Head of the Digital Lab. Catherine's most recent role at SICPA is Head of Market - Identity. Prior to their work at SICPA, Catherine was a Research Laboratory Manager at Orgamol from 1999 to 2002.

Catherine Fankhauser has a strong educational background with degrees in biochemistry and organic chemistry. Catherine began their academic journey at the University of Geneva, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in biochemistry from 1989 to 1992. Following this, they pursued further studies at the same institution and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in biochemistry in 1993. Catherine's commitment to education led their to continue their academic pursuits, and they completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in organic chemistry at the University of Geneva from 1994 to 1999.

Additionally, Catherine Fankhauser has obtained certifications in the field of blockchain technology from renowned institutions. In November 2020, they completed the course "LFS171x: Introduction to Hyperledger Blockchain Technologies" offered by edX. In July 2020, they obtained certification for the course "LFS170x: Blockchain: Understanding Its Uses and Implications" from The Linux Foundation.
