Ilir Bolani

Ilir Bolani is a seasoned Database Administrator with extensive experience spanning over two decades in various prominent organizations. Currently serving at Borsa Italiana since May 2023, Ilir has maintained a long tenure at SICPA from March 2011, where roles have included IT Team Lead and DBA. Previous positions include Database Department Manager at Primus Albania Sh.p.k., Oracle Database Administrator at Union Bank Albania, and several development roles at Vodafone Albania and Oracle Italy. Expertise encompasses Oracle, MySQL, and SPLUNK Enterprise, with a strong focus on performance tuning, disaster recovery, and second-line support for applications. Ilir Bolani holds a Master of Science degree in Physics from the University of Tirana.
