Kristin Olson

Kristin Olson is a Senior Programme Specialist at Sida, focusing on Eastern Europe and thematic support, with a strong commitment to democratic development and communication for change. They have over 25 years of experience in various roles, including producer, writer, and advisor on human rights, freedom of expression, and media policy. Kristin previously held positions at OSCE, where they served as Principal Adviser to the Representative on Freedom of the Media, and at Kvinna till kvinna, supporting women's advocacy organizations. They hold multiple degrees, including a Master’s in peace and conflict studies from Uppsala University and continue to contribute to the field through independent research and writing. Additionally, Kristin is passionate about pilates.
