Christine Lear is an experienced consultant currently working at Sidarion AG since October 2019 and has been an author for Pearson Education since June 1999, co-authoring several editions of "The Practice of System and Network Administration." Previously, Christine served as Director of DNS & DHCP engineering at UBS from August 2017 to September 2019, and held the position of Principal in Network Services at AT&T from September 2014 to July 2017, where similar responsibilities were executed. Early career highlights include a Senior Network Engineer role at CSC, as well as extensive experience in aerodynamic development for the BMW Sauber F1 Team from May 2004 to February 2010. Additional roles span security consulting with various firms, particularly at GNAC and chogan.com, and a position as Security Architect at Synopsys, Inc. Christine holds a PhD in Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College London and advanced degrees in Computer Science, Legal Studies, and Mathematics from Trinity College Dublin and DIT College of Commerce, Rathmines.
