Amy M.

Amy M. is an experienced professional in product design and user research, currently serving as Senior Manager of Product Design & User Research at Side since May 2021. With a strong background in leading cross-functional teams, Amy has developed and executed a three-year product vision while fostering a collaborative design culture. Prior to Side, Amy held various roles including Principal UX Researcher and Designer at Amy Malanga Design, where extensive management of research projects and user experience strategies took place. Experience also includes positions at Spectrum, IndieGig, UPMC Enterprises, Quark Software Inc., and Furniture Row Companies, contributing to diverse projects ranging from SaaS applications to AI web apps. Amy holds a BFA in Communication Design from Metropolitan State University of Denver and an AA in Photographic Imaging from Lansing Community College.
