Michael Nielsen

Michael Nielsen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in implementation and member care management. Currently serving as the Director of Implementation at Sidecar Health since September 2018, Michael plays a key role in scaling the business for larger employer groups while ensuring smooth transitions to health insurance services. Previously, as the Director of Member Care at Sidecar Health, Michael established and built member support and claims departments, creating HIPAA-compliant policies and supervising operations. Prior experience includes managing the Bakery Department at Harmons Grocery, where Michael drove profitability through data-based decision-making and team oversight, and serving as a Customer Service and Training Coach at 1-800 CONTACTS, recognized for top performance and contributions to training initiatives. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Experience Industry Management from Brigham Young University and a Bachelor of Science in Management, also from Brigham Young University, in addition to prior education at LDS Business College and Olympus High School.
