Fabio Pereira

Fabio Pereira has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. Fabio is currently working at SidelineSwap as a Software Engineer since 2022. Prior to that, they were employed at Mercado Livre from 2018 to 2022. At Mercado Livre, they had two roles - Tech Lead and Backend Developer. As a Tech Lead, they led a system re-architecture project and ensured compliance with LGPD regulations. Fabio also mentored 5 mid-level/senior engineers. As a Backend Developer, they developed an event-driven API and implemented a massive invoice emission system.

Before joining Mercado Livre, Fabio worked at Beleza na Web as a Backend Developer from 2017 to 2018. During this time, they improved the ecommerce performance by breaking down a monolith and implemented various enhancements, such as dynamic pricing and real-time product's photos catalog updates. Fabio also improved the recommendation system using ElasticSearch aggregation.

Fabio's earlier experiences include working at CDS Tecnologia as a Software Developer from 2017 to 2017, at Working Minds as a Software Developer from 2016 to 2017, at Di Franchesco Camisaria as a Diretor Executivo from 2015 to 2016, at Capgemini as a System Analyst in 2015, at IMAGO IT Solutions as a Software Developer from 2012 to 2015, and at MOZART SYSTEMS as a Freelancer from 2014 to 2014.

Throughout their career, Fabio has gained expertise in various programming languages and databases, such as Java, C#, ASP Classic, SQL Server, and Oracle. Fabio has also demonstrated leadership skills, project management abilities, and a focus on system optimization and performance improvement.

Fabio Pereira obtained their B. Tech. in System Analysis and Development from the Instituto Infnet between 2011 and 2014. Fabio then pursued further education and completed an MBA in Management with a specialization in Economia e Gestão Empresarial from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro from 2015 to 2017.
