Carrie Winteregg

Carrie Winteregg is a legal professional with extensive experience in civil litigation, currently serving as a Conflicts Staff Attorney at Sidley Austin LLP since April 2024. Prior roles include Associate Attorney positions at Klein, Thorpe & Jenkins, Ltd. and Patton & Ryan LLC, as well as Attorney at Law at Pissetzky & Berliner, LLC, where responsibilities encompassed litigating cases in administrative courts and Cook County Circuit Court. Earlier experience includes serving as an Attorney Law Clerk for the City of Chicago, where tasks involved case research, management, and pretrial litigation for municipal code violations. Carrie also completed an internship with the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio and held various positions in law-related roles, starting with a legal intern and including a teaching position in South Korea. Carrie holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Dayton School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in English from Wittenberg University.
