Di Duan

Di Duan is an Associate at Sidley Austin LLP since October 2023, previously serving as a Staff Editor for both The Texas Journal of Oil, Gas, and Energy Law and the Texas International Law Journal from August 2021 to May 2023. Di Duan held a Summer Associate position at Sidley Austin LLP in 2022 and gained experience as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Magistrate Judge Dena Palermo at the United States District Court for The Southern District of Texas in the summer of 2021. Early legal experience includes roles as a Legal Assistant at Beijing Gaojie Law Firm and as a Legal Intern at Mayer Brown, DLA Piper, and the District People’s Court of Changping. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Law (JD) from The University of Texas School of Law and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from China University of Political Science and Law, alongside an exchange program at Háskólinn á Akureyri.
