Roelof Meijer

Roelof Meijer has extensive work experience in the internet and domain name industry. Roelof served as the CEO of SIDN, a leading Internet Top-Level Domain Operator, from 2005. Roelof also held roles as a Member of the Board of Directors in various organizations, including the Twente University Centre for Cybersecurity Research, CENTR (the industry association of European country code top-level domain registries), and the Domain Name Association. In addition, they served as the CEO of Connectis from 2017 to 2018. Prior to their work in the domain industry, they held positions in organizations such as DINL, NLnet Labs, PTC+, Technocentrum de Vallei, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Roelof Meijer attended Wageningen University & Research from 1979 to 1986, where they obtained a degree in Agricultural/Mechanical Engineering. In 2015, Meijer enrolled at Nyenrode Business University and completed The New Board Program in 2017. Additionally, in the same year, they participated in The Effective Chair program at Nyenrode Business University.
