Asim Ahmed began their career in 2004 as a Technical Support Engineer at the National Information Center, Ministry of Council of Ministers in Sudan. Asim supervised various IT projects and ensured compliance with government IT policies. In 2007, they transitioned to Sidra Medicine, where they held various roles such as Project Team IT Coordinator, IT Support Specialist, IT Helpdesk Supervisor, 'Head of IT Service Desk, and currently serves as the Head of IT Support Services. In their current role, Asim oversees the IT support services team, meets the IT needs of the implementation team, and coordinates with external IT departments to facilitate daily IT requirements.

Asim Ahmed completed their B.Sc in Computer Science from the University of Science and Technology in 2004. Asim also obtained certifications in ITIL V3 Foundation in 2012 and as a Microsoft Certified Professional in 2010. In 2023, they completed the "Microsoft Power Apps Essential Training: The Basics" through LinkedIn.
