Brenda Flynn has a strong and diverse work experience in the nursing field spanning over several decades. Brenda has held various roles, including Assistant Director of Nursing, Chief Nursing Officer, Director of Nursing & Midwifery Services, Unit Manager, and Senior Nurse, in different healthcare organizations such as Sidra Medicine, Danat Al Emarat Hospital for Women & Children, and Mafraq Hospital. Brenda has garnered extensive experience in managing nursing teams, overseeing quality improvement projects, and achieving accreditations in healthcare settings.
Brenda Flynn completed their education with a Diploma in Professional Studies in Nursing from the University of Derby in 1993, followed by a BSc(Hons) in Advanced Professional Studies in Nursing from the same university in 1997. Brenda then pursued a PostGrad diploma in Geriatric Medicine at Keele University from 2003 to 2006. Later, Brenda obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Leadership from the University of Liverpool between 2012 and 2014. Additionally, they received certifications such as the Certification for Global Nurse Consultant (CGNC) in 2022 and a Fellowship of faculty in nursing and midwifery by examination from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2021. Brenda's educational journey began at the Queen Elizabeth School of Nursing, QE Hospital, Birmingham, where they became a Registered General Nurse from 1984 to 1987.
