Marijan Simic

Marijan Simic has extensive work experience in the procurement and facility services sectors. Marijan currently holds the position of Head of Global Indirect Procurement at Siegfried Holding AG since July 2022, where they are responsible for managing global procurement operations. Prior to this, they worked at Novartis for eight years, starting in 2011. During their time at Novartis, they held various roles such as Regional Category Manager, Site Strategic Buyer, and Site Purchasing Manager, where they specialized in real estate, facility services, and indirect materials procurement. Before joining Novartis, they worked at Bank Sarasin as Additional Securities Services and at Clariant as a Research Technician.

Marijan Simic pursued an apprenticeship as a laboratory chemist at Clariant from 2003 to 2006. Later, from 2008 to 2010, they studied Business Administration and Applied Technical Management at the Association of Swiss Technical Management in Anavant, CH, earning a Federal Diploma. Lastly, from 2013 to 2015, Marijan attended procure.ch and obtained an Advanced Federal Degree in Procurement and Supply Management (Eidg.dipl.Einkaufsleiter).
