Yann Baumgartner

Yann Baumgartner is a Senior Process Excellence Chemist in R&D at Siegfried since July 2022, previously serving as a Process Excellence Chemist in R&D. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Researcher role at ICIQ from January 2021 to June 2022 and a PhD at the University of Basel from October 2016 to October 2020, where supervision duties included mentoring a first-year PhD student and managing lab courses for undergraduate chemistry students. Additional contributions to the Swiss Chemical Society as a co-author for the Swiss Science Concentrate column took place from April 2019 to March 2020. Yan Baumgartner holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Organic Chemistry, a Master of Science in Chemistry, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, all earned from the University of Basel.
