Leif Lauvås

Leif Lauvås has extensive work experience in the field of accounting and finance. Leif started their career as a Revisjonsmedarbeider at Arthur Andersen & Co in 1982 and later became a Senior Accountant. After leaving Arthur Andersen & Co in 1984, they joined Birger Christenstensen AS as an Økonomisjef, where they were responsible for financial management and IT. In 1990, Leif joined Maritime Hydraulics AS as an Økonomisjef, where they were involved in financial management and also served as a member of the management team. Leif remained with the company until 1999. Following this, they worked at Maritime Promeco AS as an Økonomisjef, where they were responsible for accounting and finance until 2000. Leif then joined Norfass AS as an Økonomisjef / Financial Manager, where they were in charge of financial responsibilities until 2002. From 2002 to 2015, they worked at O. T. Tønnevold AS as an Økonomisjef, overseeing financial operations. Currently, Leif holds the position of Group Accounting Director at Siem Offshore since 2015.

Leif Lauvås attended Kristiansand Handelsgymnas from 1973 to 1976, where they pursued their secondary education and obtained a degree in Økonomisk gymnas. Following this, from 1977 to 1981, they enrolled at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) for a four-year program. Leif earned their degree in Siviløkonom, specializing in an undisclosed field of study.
