Luis Octavio da Cruz Carneiro

Luis Octavio Da Cruz Carneiro has extensive experience in the maritime industry, currently serving as a Second Engineer at Siem Offshore since March 2018. Prior roles include positions as a Linen Porter at Crowne Plaza Dublin Airport, 3rd Engineer at Galáxia Marítima S/A, and Marine Engineer at TMS Offshore Limited. Luis began a career in marine engineering with an apprenticeship at Solstad Farstad ASA. Educational qualifications include a degree in Marine Engineering from the Brazilian Merchant Marine Academy and various certifications in safety and rescue training, including HUET, Fast Rescue Boat, and Basic Platform Safety.
