Gennadiy Afanasiev

Gennadiy Afanasiev is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience at Siemens Energy since February 2002, currently serving as the Vice President of Global Product Integrity & Quality. Gennadiy has held various leadership roles in engineering, including Senior Director of Engineering for the 9000HL LGT Development and Director of Engineering for 9000HL Design Execution. Prior to Siemens Energy, Gennadiy worked at FMC Technologies from May 1996 to February 2002, contributing as a Senior Design Engineer in airport products and systems. Gennadiy holds a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Design and Finite Element Analysis from the University of Central Florida, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Florida, where recognition includes a Distinguished Alumni Award from the College of Engineering Honors.
