Ian Anderson

Ian Anderson has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the Field Service Manager for Siemens Energy in Australia and New Zealand since October 2010. In this role, Ian manages service work execution for the industrial, power generation, and oil and gas sectors, focusing on steam and gas turbines, generators, and compression systems. Previously, Ian held the position of Senior Project Manager at Siemens Energy, overseeing large Greenfield and Brownfield projects. Ian's earlier career includes managerial roles at PT Trakindo Utama, Detroit Engine and Turbine, GEC Alsthom, and Pacific Power, in addition to engineering positions at Electricity Commission of NSW. Ian holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New South Wales, obtained from 1976 to 1980.
