Javier Alvarez

Javier Alvarez is an experienced professional in the energy and engineering sectors, currently serving as the Head of Global Repair Business Development at Siemens Energy since February 2017, along with a role as Global Client Resolutions Leader. Prior to this, Javier worked at Dresser-Rand from August 2013 to January 2017 as the Service Center Manager for North Branch, overseeing extensive repair capabilities for turbomachinery, steam turbines, and reciprocating compressors/engines. Additional experience includes roles as Manager of Projects & Commissioning at Stork Technical Services and Mechanical Maintenance Engineer at Endesa Generación, where responsibilities encompassed the maintenance of General Electric gas turbines and Sulzer diesel engines. Javier’s career began as a Project Engineer at Fokker Aerostructures B.V. and is supported by a background in engineering from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and MTS Anthony Fokker.
