Sarah Handley Cenv Fiema

Sarah Handley CEnv FIEMA is the Head of Sustainability and Environmental Governance at Siemens Energy, where responsibilities include leading sustainability initiatives since April 2020. Prior to this role, Sarah spent 18 years at Siemens, primarily as the Carbon Neutral Programme Manager, focusing on achieving the goal of 'Carbon Neutral by 2030' and collaborating with various stakeholders to foster a carbon-neutral culture. Previous positions include Environmental Executive, with a focus on sustainability programs, compliance, and environmental audits, and Senior Quality & Environment Practitioner, where Sarah implemented CSR strategies and community conservation initiatives. Before Siemens, Sarah served as Quality & Environment Manager at Datum Solutions, achieving ISO 14001 certification, and as a Project Coordinator for RPS Group, contributing to environmental assessments. Sarah holds a PgDip in Environmental Assessment & Management from Oxford Brookes University and a BSc(Hons) in Geography from the University of Plymouth.
