Shawn Currie

Shawn Currie possesses extensive experience in supply chain management and manufacturing engineering, currently serving as Team Lead in Supply Chain Management at Siemens Energy since September 2020. Previous roles at Siemens Energy Inc. included Program Manager/Manufacturing Engineer from December 2013 to September 2020, focusing on sourcing development projects and process development for machined turbine components. Prior to this, Currie worked as a Commodity Management Specialist at Siemens Energy, managing strategic purchasing for gas turbine components. A significant tenure at Pratt & Whitney Canada spanned over two decades, where various high-tech manufacturing roles were undertaken, encompassing quality assurance, continuous improvement, and supply chain optimization. Shawn Currie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Cape Breton University and two Associate's Degrees in Automated Manufacturing Technology and Mechanical Engineering from Nova Scotia Community College.
