Thabo Molekoa

Thabo Molekoa is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the energy sector and corporate governance. Currently serving as an Advisory Board Member at the Southern African-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry and a Board Committee Member for South Africa at the World Energy Council, Thabo plays a pivotal role in shaping the energy ecosystem. As the Chairman of the Board and Managing Director at Siemens Energy, Thabo focuses on advancing sustainable energy solutions. Previous leadership roles include Non-Executive Chairman of the Makana Energy Wind Farm Trust and Non-Executive Board Member of the Grassridge Wind Farm Trust. Thabo's background also includes a tenure as CEO for the Sub-Saharan Africa region at thyssenkrupp and a Regional Director role at DuPont Sustainable Solutions. Educational qualifications include a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cape Town, an MBA from the University of Pretoria, and a Certificate in Corporate Governance from the University of Johannesburg.
