Eric Knudsen

Eric Knudsen has extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the Head of Nacelle Technology at Siemens Gamesa since August 2017, where responsibilities include overseeing offshore nacelle technology development and bearing management. Prior to this role, Eric held leadership positions at Siemens Wind Power, PolyTech A/S, Wintell A/S, and Skykon Nr. Aaby, culminating in over a decade of experience in various capacities including Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer. Eric's foundational experience in the field began with multiple roles at Fiberline Composites A/S and a scientific assistant position at Aalborg University. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Aalborg University and an MBA from the Technical University of Denmark.
