Lars Ohlsen Riis

Lars Ohlsen Riis, MBA, has extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Head of Project Logistics NE&ME Onshore Wind at Siemens Gamesa since August 2020. Prior roles include Director of Turbine Solutions at Vestas, where Lars managed a large team of engineers and implemented strategies across multiple engineering disciplines. Lars has held several managerial positions at Vestas, focusing on electrical power, cooling systems, and load performance within wind turbine projects. Earlier in the career, Lars worked at Grundfos as Department Head for Technical Marketing and as a Production Section Supervisor. Lars holds an MBA from Aarhus BSS - Aarhus University, along with degrees in Organisation and Management, Mechanical Engineering, and a teaching degree.
