Michael Hughes

Michael Hughes serves as the VP of Service Operations North America and VP of Offshore Service Americas at Siemens Gamesa, where responsibilities include developing and executing the offshore service sales strategy for upcoming projects in the United States. With a robust background in project management, Michael previously led initiatives to enhance availability at UK and German Offshore wind farm sites and oversaw global quality and EHS efforts within Siemens Wind Power - Service. Michael's career at Siemens also includes roles as Global Head of Platform Quality and EHS for Onshore and Regional Head of EHS for Wind Americas, where leadership was provided to large teams managing safety and environmental compliance across multiple regions. Prior experience includes positions at United Space Alliance and SAIC, with academic qualifications including an MBA from Webster University and a Bachelor of Science in Safety Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
