Sebastian Diaz

Sebastian Diaz is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the wind turbine sector, currently serving as the Global Process Engineering Team Lead at Siemens Gamesa since September 2018. In this role, Sebastian oversees process maturation and repairs for blade components across multiple locations, including Spain, Portugal, Denmark, the UK, and China, managing teams of up to 19 process engineers. Previously, Sebastian held various positions focused on material layup and casting processes for offshore wind turbines and contributed to the automotive industry as a Composite Manufacturing Engineer at Gurit. Earlier experiences include project engineering roles at Zoltek, where Sebastian led significant capital investment projects in Mexico. Sebastian holds both MSc and BSc degrees in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Polymer Technologies from Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
