Ken Jackson, CEM, CMVP, CBEP has over three decades of work experience in the energy management field. Ken started their career in 1989 at Honeywell as a Programmer Analyst, where they developed expertise in using energy management systems (EMS) for collecting trend data and analyzing it to recommend control strategies for energy savings and equipment optimization. Ken also played a key role in identifying Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) and assessing their effectiveness in achieving projected savings. Ken worked on fault detection rules and data analysis for utility bills with weather adjustments, building scheduling, and generating monthly reports for clients. Ken utilized tools like Skyspark and Tableau to efficiently analyze large volumes of data. In 2020, Ken joined Siemens Government Technologies as an M&V Energy Engineer, where they continue to contribute their expertise in energy analysis and conservation.

Ken Jackson, CEM, CMVP, CBEP, completed their undergraduate education at DeVry Institute of Technology Atlanta from 1986 to 1989. Ken obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems with a focus on Computer Programming.

In addition to their education, Ken Jackson holds several certifications in the field of energy efficiency. Ken is a Certified Measurement & Verification Professional, which they obtained from the Association of Energy Engineers in June 2022. Ken also holds the Certified Business Energy Professional (CBEP) certification, obtained from the same institution in September 2019. Furthermore, Ken Jackson is a Certified Energy Manager, achieved in June 2010 through the Association of Energy Engineers. Lastly, they hold a Green Belt Certification from Honeywell, obtained in June 2006.
