Dr. Patrick Löffler

Dr. Patrick Löffler is a Smart Data Platform Engineer at Siemens Healthineers since July 2020, with prior experience as a Software Developer and Data Scientist at CID GmbH from June 2017 to June 2020. Dr. Löffler completed a PhD in Bioinformatics at the University of Regensburg from 2012 to 2017, following a Master of Science in Bioinformatics at the University of Hamburg. Additional experience includes a Visiting Researcher position at the University of Minnesota, contributing to research on quantum mechanical methods for protein polarization, and earlier roles in software development and database programming with Siemens and various projects, including work related to magnetic resonance tomography and the Bangalore Airport construction. Educational qualifications also include a Bachelor of Science in Biology from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg.
