Marc Vornehm

Marc Vornehm is an accomplished Application Developer at Siemens Healthineers, specializing in cardiovascular MRI predevelopment since November 2018. Vornehm's expertise extends to deep learning-based image reconstruction for accelerated dynamic cardiac MRI, demonstrated through a doctoral research project in collaboration with Siemens Healthineers and The Ohio State University, as well as a master's thesis focused on low-dose contrast-enhanced cardiac magnetic resonance imaging. Educationally, Vornehm is pursuing a PhD in Computer Science at FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg, having previously earned a Master's and Bachelor's in Biomedical/Medical Engineering. Vornehm has also contributed to teaching and supervising student projects, alongside experiences in algorithm development for medical imaging applications at various institutions, including The Ohio State University and Fraunhofer IIS.
