Theresa Tiernan

Theresa Tiernan has over three decades of experience in environmental health, safety, and regulatory compliance within the medical device and technology sectors. Currently serving as a Program Manager at Siemens Healthineers since October 1992, Theresa provides guidance on regulatory compliance and leads engineering initiatives while mentoring teams for predictable outcomes. Previous roles include Project Manager positions focused on product sustainability and environmental management, where Theresa managed global compliance projects and implemented ISO 14001 systems. Prior to Siemens, Theresa worked at Raytheon Missiles & Defense as an Environmental Engineer and held environmental health and safety roles in various organizations, starting with research positions in biological sciences. Theresa holds an M.S. in Environmental Science & Industrial Hygiene from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a B.S. in Biology from Syracuse University.
