Gerson Andrade

Gerson Andrade has a range of work experience in the field of automation engineering. Gerson started their career as a Maintenance Technician at CIMAI Group in 2018. In 2019, they completed an internship as an Industrial Automation Technician at Porta24. From 2020 to 2022, they worked as an Automation Engineer at COEM - Eletricidade e Instrumentação, S.A., specifically focusing on the pharmaceutical industry. During this time, they gained experience in DeltaV programming, equipment commissioning, and qualification activities. In 2022, they joined TecnoVeritas – Services of Engineering and Systems Technology as an Automation Engineer (PLC Engineer) until 2023. Currently, they are employed as a Commissioning Engineer at Siemens Logistics, starting in 2023.

Gerson Andrade pursued a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from ISEL - Instituto Superior De Engenharia De Lisboa from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering from Escola Superior Náutica Infante D. Henrique from 2014 to 2017. In 2018 and 2019, they also underwent industrial automation programming training at MasterD. Apart from their formal education, Gerson Andrade obtained several certifications related to programming PLCs from RealPars.
