Marcelo Filipe Marques

Marcelo Filipe Marques has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Marcelo Filipe began their career as a Barman at Eurest Portugal in 2014. Marcelo Filipe then worked as a Repositor at Modelo Continente for a short period in 2015, gaining experience in the logistics of a large supermarket. In the same year, they joined the Municipal Hall of Mafra as part of the Generation On program, working in the section of Diverse Licensing and gaining insight into the management of a city.

In 2015, Marcelo became a member of AIESEC in ISCTE and participated in the Global Entrepreneurs Program, which involved a professional internship in startups around the world. Marcelo Filipe also served as a member of the Costumer Experience Management team.

In 2016, Marcelo joined ISCTE Junior Consulting as a Financial Consultant and worked on consulting projects. Marcelo Filipe then began an internship at Siemens Postal, Parcel & Airport Logistics LLC in 2017 as a Project Controller Intern, where they learned project financial control tools and worked on controlling the spare parts business and small projects in Portuguese airports.

Following their internship, Marcelo continued their journey at Siemens Postal, Parcel & Airport Logistics, starting as a Commercial Project Manager in 2018. In this role, they managed various projects, including the operation and maintenance of baggage handling systems at Portuguese airports and IT revamp projects at Mumbai International Airport. Marcelo Filipe was responsible for project finance and commercial aspects, with a total project volume of over 35 million Euros.

Currently, Marcelo is working at Siemens Logistics as a Commercial Sales Manager. Marcelo Filipe analyzes customer requirements, ensures that Siemens Logistics can meet them, and presents competitive offers that meet commercial and technical expectations. Marcelo Filipe'sfocus is on ensuring Siemens Logistics' interests and profitability.

Marcelo Filipe Marques obtained their High School education from Escola Secundária José Saramago between 2009 and 2012. Marcelo Filipe then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa from 2013 to 2016. After completing their undergraduate studies, Marcelo went on to earn a Master's Degree in Accounting from the same institution, ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, from 2016 to 2018.
