Amit Jayanta Nayak

Amit Jayanta Nayak is an accomplished Engineering Manager in Software and Test Development at Siemens since January 2015, distinguished for leading R&D projects and software/firmware development, including the successful product design of the SEM3T Thermal Monitoring system during the early Covid era. Notable achievements include winning the Gold Award for the Siemens Embedded Micro Metering Module in the 13th annual Consulting-Specifying Engineer “Product of the Year” awards. Prior to Siemens, Amit held positions as a Firmware Engineer at Sputnik Technology USA Inc. and a Consulting Software Engineer at Siemens Industry Inc., where responsibilities included firmware development and verification testing. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Delaware and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Mumbai. Amit is an active member of IEEE and has held leadership roles in Siemens Speakers Toastmasters Club.
