Christoph Giessing is an experienced banker with 30 years in the credit business, currently advising loan originators and risk managers on integrating environmental and social factors into credit underwriting and portfolio management. Since March 2023, Christoph has been in a new position focused on balancing modern economic needs with the protection of natural ecosystems. Prior to this role, Christoph held leadership positions in loan origination, risk management, and credit ratings at Siemens from 2002 to 2023 and served in various roles at Deutsche Bank from 1994 to 2002. Christoph holds degrees in economics from Universität Witten/Herdecke and completed certification in Sustainable Finance at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
