Kal Mos

Kal Mos is an influential leader in the technology and automotive sectors, currently serving as the Executive VP of Research & Predevelopment at Siemens since September 2025. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Software Engineering at Google, where Kal spearheaded the AI-Defined Vehicle initiative, and GM & Director of Artificial General Intelligence at Amazon, overseeing the delivery of personalized experiences for customers. Previous positions also include Global Vice President of Connected Car & Digital Cockpit at both Nissan Motor Corporation and Groupe Renault, focusing on connected car strategies and intelligent cockpit development. With a strong background in AI and software engineering, Kal has held significant roles at Mercedes-Benz Research & Development and General Motors, where innovative projects in machine learning and connected vehicle systems were implemented. Kal holds a Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Engineering from The University of Tokyo, with a dissertation focused on Probabilistic Inference & Uncertainty Modeling.
