Miguel Albertos Cabañas currently serves as the Head of the Mechanical Systems Department at Siemens, where responsibilities include guiding and aligning goals across all Mechanical subdepartments. Previously, Miguel held the role of Head of the Carbody Department at the Rolling Stock Engineering Hub in Spain, overseeing multiple subdepartments and establishing departmental structures. Prior to that, Miguel worked as a Solution Architect and Lead Design Engineer for Rolling Stock Piping, leading design and execution for compressed air piping. Miguel's experience also includes roles at Talgo as a System Engineer in mechanical installations, and as a Project Engineer and Mechanical Engineer at VTIsl, focusing on test rig design for various industries. A PhD candidate in Astrobiology and Space Research at Universidad de Alcalá, Miguel also holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Energetics, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
