Matthew Tasooji

CEO at Sienza

Matthew Tasooji is the current CEO at Sienza. Prior to this, they were the head of system engineering program management at Nokia Mobile Phones from February 2012 to March 2019. From June 2002 to January 2012, Tasooji held the title of Sr. Manager at Nokia Mobile Phones, where they were responsible for system integration, strategy development, liaison with standards and industry forums, and customer interface. From July 2000 to June 2002, they were a project manager at GTran, where they managed a staff of 35 to develop the first 1xRTT PCMCIA card modem for wireless internet connectivity for laptops and desktops. Tasooji began their career at Qualcomm in July 1995 as a Sr. Manager, where they managed the CDMA University, created training courses in IS-95, network planning and optimization, and general digital communication theory. Matthew trained Qualcomm staff, customers and evangelized CDMA technology globally. Prior to Qualcomm, Tasooji was a Sr. Professor and Chairman of the EET Department at DeVry University from September 1986 to June 1995.

Matthew Tasooji earned a Master's degree in Engineering Economic Systems from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in EE from the University of Southern California.
