Samuel Kang 康博深 MS, MBA, PMP has a long and varied work experience. Samuel began their career in 2010 as a WebEOC Administrator/ IT Project Manager/ BSA for the San Bernardino County Fire Department. In 2011, they joined UnitedHealth Group as a Sr. Healthcare IT Program/Project Manager (EPMO). In 2015, they became Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of INQBRANDS, INC. / FOCUS TECHNOLOGY USA, as well as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of RENA Biotechnology Corridor. In 2018, they were appointed Senior Vice President of American Plus Bank N.A. In 2019, they became Executive Chairman of Healthy23 Bioscience. In 2020, they were appointed Head of Total Technology Solutions & Head of Electric School Buses at BYD North America, and Adjunct Professor - Biotechnology Project Management at Azusa Pacific University. Finally, in 2022, they became Chief Operations Officer (COO) of Sienza Energy. Additionally, they have served as Councilman (Mayor 2016, 2020) of the City of Duarte since 2013.

Samuel Kang 康博深's education history is as follows: Samuel attended South Pasadena High School from 1989 to 1992, Rio Hondo College from 1993 to 1994, where they earned an Associate of Science in Fire Chemistry & Technology, and UC Irvine from 1993 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. In 1999, they obtained a Paramedic certification from Kern County Office of Emergency Services. Samuel then attended Azusa Pacific University from 2001 to 2004, where they earned a Master of Science in Applied Computer Science (CIS) and a Master of Business Administration in Finance. In 2011 to 2012, they attended Stanford University for Advanced Project Management. Finally, they attended the University of Southern California from 2022 to 2024, where they earned a Doctor of Policy, Planning and Development in Land Use Planning and Management/Development.
