Nilesh Parate

Nilesh Parate has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Nilesh started their career in 1992 at Oracle, where they worked as a Project Leader specializing in Inventory Management application module. Nilesh earned a Certification in Production and Inventory Management from APICS during their time there. In 1997, Nilesh moved on to Kiva Software, where they served as a Project Manager for the industry's first Application Server. Nilesh managed high-visibility projects for top-tier clients such as Etrade and Hong Kong Telecom. Nilesh then joined Netscape in 1998 as a Project Manager and later transitioned to Sierra Proto Express in 1999. At Sierra Proto Express, they were the Director of Ebusiness/Infrastructure, responsible for setting up and managing an offshore CAD engineering department in Bangalore, India, and establishing the company's ebusiness infrastructure. In 2003, Nilesh joined Sierra Circuits, Inc. as the General Manager. Nilesh oversaw product strategy, sales, marketing, and operations for the rapid PCB Manufacturing & Assembly service sold through online channels. Nilesh also served as the Managing Director for Sierra Circuits' India operations, responsible for two offshore locations with over 100 employees.

Nilesh Parate completed their Bachelor of Technology degree at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT) from 1986 to 1990. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at The University of Georgia, from 1990 to 1992. Later, Nilesh attended The Wharton School from 2002 to 2004, where they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with Honors, specializing in Marketing. In addition to their formal education, Nilesh holds a certification in APICS CPIM from the institution APICS, although the specific date of acquisition is not provided.
