Pradip Morparia has a diverse and extensive work experience in the technology industry.
Pradip started their career at Texas Instruments as a Design Engineer in 1973, where they designed Disk and Network controllers. Pradip also performed onsite debugging for complex hardware and software issues.
In 1980, Morparia joined National Semiconductor as a Senior Design Engineer before moving on to Fortune Systems in 1982. At Fortune Systems, they worked as a Senior Producibility Engineer, managing existing products and a small team of engineers. Pradip was also involved in the development of early manufacturing test strategies.
In 1986, Morparia joined Tolerant Systems (now Symantec) as a Senior Engineering Manager. In this role, they conducted design reviews and presentations for in-house Processor Boards and managed complex hardware and software integration projects. Pradip also managed a team of engineers developing fault-tolerant processors and network control electronics.
Morparia worked at SyQuest Technology from 1989 to 1998 as a Project Manager. Pradip led manufacturing teams in qualifying volume PCB FAB and Assembly vendors and was knowledgeable in PCB FABs and Assemblies.
From 1998 to 2001, Morparia was a Program Manager at Gadzoox Networks. Pradip managed programs and projects, coordinated industry trade shows, and led the design and fabrication of mechanical chassis for a FIBRE Channel to SCSI Router.
In 2002, Morparia started their own business entity and worked as a Technical and Business Consultant for small manufacturing companies in India. Pradip provided consulting services to explore marketing options aimed at the U.S.
Most recently, since 2008, Morparia has been working at Sierra Circuits, Inc. in Sales and Project Engineering. Pradip has been responsible for PCB fabrication, design and assembly pricing, evaluating new PCB designs, and analyzing customer bills of materials for procurement cycles.
Throughout their career, Morparia has demonstrated expertise in various aspects of the technology industry, including sales, project management, engineering, and consulting.
Pradip Morparia pursued their education in a systematic manner. From 1964 to 1970, they attended the University of Mumbai, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Pradip then furthered their studies at The University of Texas at Austin from 1970 to 1973, completing a Master of Science (MS) degree in the field of Electrical Engineering.
