Gabrielle Vacheresse

Gabrielle was born and raised on the unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) nations, also known as Vancouver. Growing up, living and playing in the beautiful forests, mountains and waters in B.C. Gabrielle spends most of her free time outside enjoying nature, and usually can be found walking, biking, hiking, camping, skiing, paddleboarding or surfing.

Gabrielle has a BA in Environmental Geography from SFU, where she developed a deep passion for environmental stewardship. Motivated by her love of food and community, she spent years working to support sustainable food systems and currently serves on the board of the BC Association of Farmers’ Markets.

Gabrielle is excited to be part of Sierra Club BC’s development team as Annual Giving Officer, where she brings her love of nature and experience in fundraising to further the organization’s mission.
