Allyson Samuell

Allyson Samuell is a dedicated environmental advocate with extensive experience in grassroots organizing and community engagement. Currently serving as a Senior Field Organizer at Sierra Club since July 2016, Allyson has supported volunteer leaders and grassroots teams across the Northeast in their efforts to transition to 100% renewable energy in an equitable manner. Previous experience includes serving as Regional Field Director for NextGen Climate, where Allyson organized community events focused on climate change and built a network advocating for renewable energy. Additionally, Allyson has held positions as a Legislative Intern at Environmental Advocates NY and an intern at 350Vermont. Allyson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Saint Michael's College, earned in 2015.
