Angelina Acevedo

Angelina Acevedo has a strong background in fundraising and donor engagement. Angelina started their career as a Development Manager at California Shakespeare Theater, where they utilized data strategies to cultivate relationships with corporate donors and created promotional events. Angelina then worked as a Media and Public Relations Manager at San Francisco Chronicle, where they served as the company spokesperson and developed internal communications plans. Acevedo later joined Youth Speaks Incorporated as the Director of Individual and Corporate Giving, where they implemented a comprehensive fundraising program and more than doubled individual giving. Currently, they are the Director of Donor Engagement and Stewardship, Communications at Sierra Club, where they lead the strategic engagement and recognition of individual donors and collaborates with the Board of Directors.

Angelina Acevedo earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Comparative Literature from the University of California, Berkeley in 2007.
