Jessica Burg

Jessica Burg is a skilled professional with extensive experience in nonprofit management and community engagement. Currently serving as a Gift Planning Specialist at Sierra Club since September 2021, Jessica previously worked as a Community Engagement Manager at Kids' Country from March 2016 to May 2019. Additional experience includes a role as a Management Consultant at The Institute for Collaborative Learning in Costa Rica, where responsibilities encompassed strategic planning and fundraising. Jessica's earlier positions include Portfolio Development Officer and Development Administrator at Thrive Networks/East Meets West, focusing on donor relations and fundraising operations. Jessica began her career as a Recreation Lead at the Associated Recreation Council, developing programs for youth, and as an English Teacher at The Institute for Collaborative Learning in Costa Rica. Jessica holds a Master of Public Affairs in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from the University of Washington and a BA in International Relations and English from Lewis & Clark College.
