Julie Klinger-Luht

Julie Klinger-Luht, MPH, currently serves as the Director of Education and Training at Humanitas Inc, a position held since June 2005. In this role, Julie has been instrumental in responding to the COVID-19 pandemic for Job Corps, creating essential protocols and directing continuing education for healthcare workers. Additionally, Julie leads the Beyond Coal Initiative for the Sierra Club Maryland, advocating for a transition from coal power and supporting workers' needs in the legislative process. Previous experiences include counseling mothers at Breastfeeding USA, serving as Acting Director of the Master of Science program in Health Education at Maryland University of Integrative Health, and teaching health topics as an Adjunct Professor at Montgomery College. Julie holds an MPH in Health Promotion from The George Washington University and a Bachelor's degree in Dietetics from James Madison University.
