Kia Brown

Kia Brown is an experienced professional with a strong background in operations, volunteer management, and content creation. Currently serving as the Chief of Volunteer Experience at the Sierra Club since January 2023, Kia previously held significant roles such as Director of Operations for the office of Rep. Kweisi Mfume from July 2020 to July 2023 and Treasurer/Director of Operations for the Kweisi Mfume for Congress campaign. Additionally, Kia is the Creator and Executive Producer of the Grown Women Talk YouTube channel launched in March 2018, which covers a range of topics including politics and health. Prior experience includes serving as Chief of Staff and Vice President of Executive Operations at the NAACP, providing strategic counsel and operational support. Kia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Howard University.
