Mahsa G Garakani

Mahsa G Garakani is a results-driven payroll and finance professional with extensive expertise in payroll management, finance optimization, and HR and IT systems implementation. Currently serving as the Director of Payroll and Accounts Payable at Sierra Club since February 2019, Mahsa previously held roles including Manager of Payroll and Accounts Payable and Payroll and Compensation Management Program Analyst at Marin Housing Authority, where responsibilities included managing a $19 million annual payroll. Early career experiences include operating a skin care business, co-founding and leading a consulting and trading company in Iran, and serving as an Executive Assistant to the CEO of Bonhams & Butterfields. Mahsa holds a Master's degree in Accounting from Golden Gate University and a BS in Economic and Business from Allameh Tabataba'i University, along with additional studies in Public Relations at the University of Tehran.
