Marcelo Balladares

Marcelo Balladares is an experienced organizing representative currently employed at Sierra Club since September 2024. Prior to this role, Marcelo served as an Everglades Fellow at the National Parks Conservation Association from May 2023 to September 2024. Earlier experience includes a position as a Research Associate at Nesbitt & Parrinello, Inc, where Marcelo analyzed data from various sources for research publications and managed teams in a remote work environment. Marcelo also contributed to the Sunrise Movement as a Leadership Team member and gained customer service experience at Panera Bread. Marcelo holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies, focused on Natural Resources, from Florida International University, along with a Superintendent's Diploma of Distinction from Pinecrest Preparatory Academy Charter High School.
