Margie Vicknair-Pray

Margie Vicknair-Pray serves as the Conservation Projects Coordinator for the Delta Chapter of the Sierra Club since February 2016. Prior to this role, Margie was the Owner/Consultant at My Safety from September 2012 to January 2016 and worked as a Senior EHS Specialist at Anadarko Petroleum from June 2006 to August 2012, focusing on contractor onboarding and management in the Environmental, Health, and Safety sector. Margie's previous experience includes roles as a Special Assistant at Dixon & Dixon from 1995 to 2001 and as a Consultant/Owner at Earthwrights from April 1985 to December 1992. Margie also coordinated the Recycle New Orleans initiative at the Louisiana Nature Center from 1981 to 1991. Margie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Houston-Downtown, graduating magna cum laude, and has pursued studies in Fine and Studio Arts at Tulane University and the University of New Orleans.
